Indoor Pipe Identification Tapes are used to determine the substance that flows in each pipe. It is the law to mark any pipes that carry substances by denoting the substance and using the correct color code.

Installation

Tapes should be fitted either side of valves, at bulkhead penetrations,‘’T’’s and crosses etc. and at regular intervals along the pipe. Prior to application pipes and lagging must be dust and oil free. The tapes should be overlapped by at least 20mm on the blind side of the tape.
